That little girl I know (ABC Poem)
Poetry Challenge: ABC Poem
Ready for another challenge
The challenge is straight forward this time.
Write an ABC poem from A to Z.
Have fun with your entries.
Cheerful and gay,
Doing what she loves,
Ever inspired, as some say,
Fine pieces of art,
Great lines of verse,
Happen to come knocking,
In a second, I’ve heard,
Just how does she do it?
Kills me so,
Let me find out today,
Maybe then you’ll know.
Now she sits with her things,
Out by the sill,
Peering like a hawk,
Quick and deftly, even,
Running her hands, moulding her work,
Shimmering in paint… or lead,
Unwavering attention she brings to the fore,
Vaults in joy, when finished to show!
Watching her work, I admire her more,
Xylophone playing as the background score,
Yet I can’t pinpoint exactly what works,
Zealously guarded, it is magic of course!
Gay: light hearted and carefree
(Hi dear friends!, my wonderful month long break has unfortunately come to an end 😦
Back to college from Monday. I’m gonna miss painting and writing!!
But I will try posting whenever I get time 🙂
Do check out my updated ‘About’ page for more )
