Monthly Archives: June 2013
that young lad,
fishing all alone,
looking utterly lost,
as if he has no home?
Who is that little boy,
who seems so at peace,
watching little fish
give his bait a tug and tease?
It feels like yesterday
that I opened my blog here at WordPress..
Can’t believe it’s more than three months now…
This thank you poem is dedicated to all my followers and well wishers!
Cheers to you!
(I have changed the theme
and the tagline too
and not to mention my About page
that was lying dormant for so long!)
Hope you all love it!
I started this blog,
with a desire to enrich my vocabulary,
creating poetry out of interesting words
would help store their meaning,
She was a part of my family, long before I was born,
My parents trusted her completely, even with their newborn.
The comb was a mortal enemy,
meant to be feared,
more so in the hands of mum,
it spelt nothing but terror!
Hey! here’s a link to the new poem I’ve posted on poet’s corner! enjoy! Vanity Insanity.
We are not born into this world,
knowing what we are supposed to do.
More often than not, we are
groping in the dark,
without a hint or clue.
The more answers we seek,
the more questions He throws at us.
The closer we seem to reach,
the farther He yanks it away from us.
